ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ- The broken road in Barangay Sibaguan, Roxas City, Capiz has been a long-standing problem.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Barangay Captain Johnny Arciga expressed that from the time he served as a councilor up until becoming the barangay captain, the issue with the road has still not been resolved.
He added that many accidents have already occurred, and in some instances, lives have been lost due to the condition of the road.
It was also noted that there are no road signages placed in that particular area of the barangay.
Meanwhile, according to him, the barangay council cannot do much about it as it is not within their official responsibilities.
However, what they can do is to continually remind everyone—especially motorists—to be cautious and slow down when driving through the area to avoid any kind of possible incidents on the road.
