Cebu is preparing to host the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2026, expected to welcome over 5,000 delegates, including tourism ministers, senior officials, and international participants.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco highlighted that the event will boost Cebu’s tourism recovery and showcase the Philippines’ culture, heritage, and hospitality.
Local governments of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu, and Mandaue cities are coordinating on infrastructure, heritage site restoration, and security measures, with more than 9,000 police personnel deployed to ensure a safe event.
