The Creamline Cool Smashers continued their strong run in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference after defeating the Nxled Chameleons in a tough five-set match, 25–16, 22–25, 25–21, 15–25, 15–10, at the Filoil Centre. The win marked Creamline’s fifth victory of the tournament, improving their record to 5–1, while Nxled dropped its fourth straight game and fell to 3–4.

Creamline relied on the strong performances of Jema Galanza, Bernadeth Pons, and Tots Carlos to secure the victory. Galanza led the team with 19 points and played a crucial role in the final set, helping spark the run that sealed the match. Pons contributed 18 points along with solid defensive efforts, while Carlos added 16 markers.

In the deciding fifth set, Creamline quickly built momentum with early scoring from Carlos and Pons. Galanza then delivered key points that extended the lead and allowed the Cool Smashers to pull away. Nxled attempted a late comeback but could not overcome the deficit.

The victory extended Creamline’s winning streak to five games, while Nxled continued to struggle after starting the conference with three consecutive wins.
