The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Blazers have strengthened their coaching lineup ahead of NCAA Season 102.
In a post by Benilde Sports, the school’s official athletics page, it was announced that Topex Robinson and Gilbert Lao will join head coach Charles Tiu on the sidelines.
Robinson, who currently serves as head coach of De La Salle University, will act as team consultant. Lao, an assistant coach at Adamson University, has been appointed as the team’s big man and defensive coach.
Robinson previously coached San Sebastian College-Recoletos and Lyceum of the Philippines University in the NCAA. Lao was also a member of Rob Labagala’s coaching staff with the Golden Stags last season.
The Blazers made it to the Final Four in NCAA Season 101 before bowing out to eventual champion San Beda University.
