ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ – Five houses were totally burned after a fire broke out in Sitio Pagutok, Barangay Dayao, Roxas City on July 13, 2025.
The affected homes were owned by Alex T. Igos, Merly S. Lanciso, Nebrito Francisco, Catherine Obaldo, and Apple Ritas.
According to information from the Roxas City Fire Station, they received a report about the incident and immediately responded. Upon arrival, personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) began extinguishing the flames.
The response team included four fire trucks, two ambulances, one rescue truck, and three auxiliary units.
The fire was declared under control at 1:48 PM and was completely put out by 1:56 PM.
Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were recorded.
As of now, the Bureau of Fire Protection is still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
