The Atlanta Hawks dominated the Portland Trail Blazers with a commanding 135–101 win on March 1 in Atlanta. The Hawks extended their winning streak to four games and reached a .500 record (31–31) for the first time since late December.

Onyeka Okongwu led Atlanta with 25 points, including 20 in the first half, while also pulling down 10 rebounds and six assists for a double‑double. Jonathan Kuminga contributed 20 points and seven boards, and CJ McCollum scored 19.

Atlanta built an early advantage by outscoring Portland in the first quarter and controlled the game throughout, also winning the rebounding battle. Two Hawks starters — Nickeil Alexander‑Walker and Jalen Johnson — returned from injury, helping the team’s depth and performance.

For Portland, Jrue Holiday scored 23 points and Donovan Clingan had a 15‑point, 15‑rebound double‑double, but the Blazers couldn’t keep pace and suffered their second straight loss. Kris Murray left the game early due to illness, and Portland went 1–2 on a five‑game road trip.

Atlanta will be aiming to keep its momentum going as the season progresses
