Iran has opposed the continued military build-up of the United States in the Middle East, saying it will not help resolve tensions over its nuclear program.
Abbas Araghchi said war is not the solution to completely end Iran’s nuclear activities. He stressed that diplomacy and dialogue are the most important steps toward addressing the issue.
Araghchi also criticized the US deployment of warships near Iranian waters, describing the move as unhelpful and pointless. He warned that any airstrikes would not benefit either side and would only result in more people being affected.
Earlier, Donald Trump gave Iran up to 10 days to respond to talks aimed at ending its nuclear program.
