Naglunsyar ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sang crackdown sa mga signages nga may pangalan kag nawong sang pulitiko nga yara sa mga government-funded projects.
“This is about protecting the integrity of public service. Ang pera ng bayan ay para sa bayan . Government projects should never look like they are owned by a person. They belong to the Filipino people,” PNP chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.
“Let me be clear: this is not optional. If you are using government property to highlight a personality, you are violating the principle that public office is a public trust. Tanggalin agad. No excuses,” pahayag niya.
Pinaagi sa memorandum nga napetsahan Pebrero 2, nagsiling ang PNP nga gin-reinforce sang police organization ang order sa idalom sang DILG Memorandum Circular 2026-006 nga napetsahan Enero 29.
Ginamanduan ng PNP personnel nga kakason ang ano man nga signage, tarpaulin, marker uukon material nga may pangalan, nawong, initials, color motif ukon ano man nga naga-identify sa simbolo sang public officials nga naka-display sa government-funded projects, programs, activities, kag properties.
