Manila, PhilippinesPresident Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Filipino people following the peaceful and orderly conduct of the recent elections, calling it a reaffirmation of the country’s democratic values.

“Thank you to every Filipino who voted,” the President said. “Once again, our democracy has renewed itself—peacefully, orderly and with dignity.”

The President emphasized that while the elections mark a celebration of democratic continuity, they also serve as a call to confront the pressing issues facing the nation—particularly inflation, job creation, corruption, and the daily struggles of ordinary citizens.

He extended his appreciation to those who supported the candidates of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, saying, “We may not have won every seat, but our work and mission continue.”

President Marcos also offered respect to those who ran but were not elected, commending their courage and commitment to public service. “Public service goes beyond elections. The work of nation-building needs all who are ready to serve.”

Quoting his father, the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr., he recalled: “If we are to prevail, we must prevail as Filipinos—for it is the only way to endure. If we are to attain our goals, we must march forward, not to the past but to the future. And we must do this as one family, a nation united.”

Calling governance a shared responsibility, President Marcos urged unity among all newly elected leaders, regardless of party or coalition. “Let us move forward together—with open minds and a common purpose,” he said.

He concluded with a powerful reaffirmation of his administration’s core principle: “In an honest government, everyone has a place.”

“May God bless our leaders, our people, and our beloved Philippines,” the President said.
