President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is scheduled to visit the United States from July 20 to 22, according to Presidential Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro.
The announcement from Malacañang came after U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed the upcoming visit during a stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Castro noted that discussions are still ongoing regarding the agenda and possible points of conversation between President Marcos and U.S. President Donald Trump.
This will mark Marcos’ fifth trip to the U.S. since assuming office in 2022, and his first visit since Trump was re-elected last year.
