The Oklahoma City Thunder narrowly defeated the New York Knicks 103–100 on the road at Madison Square Garden. Chet Holmgren led the Thunder with 28 points and eight rebounds, including six made three‑pointers, while Shai Gilgeous‑Alexander scored 26 points to help Oklahoma City hold off a late Knicks rally.
The Knicks fought back in the third quarter with a big scoring burst to briefly take the lead, but the Thunder regained control early in the fourth and maintained a slim advantage. In the closing seconds, New York had a chance to tie the game, but OG Anunoby’s potential game‑tying three missed, giving Oklahoma City its fourth straight win and snapping New York’s three‑game winning streak.
Jalen Brunson finished with 16 points and a season‑high 15 assists, and Karl‑Anthony Towns had 17 points and 17 rebounds for the Knicks, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Thunder’s clutch plays.
