Motorists traveling along a section of the national highway in Dauis, Bohol were forced to slow down after an unattended toddler was seen sitting alone on the side of the road.
The child was reportedly wearing only a diaper and a shirt, with no footwear. Concerned by the situation, a motorcycle rider stopped and picked up the toddler while waiting for someone to claim the child.
According to the video uploader, the child’s parents arrived shortly afterward and took their child home.
Authorities are still looking into how the toddler ended up along the highway. Initial reports suggest that the child’s parents may have been involved in an argument prior to the incident.
