The Golden State Warriors pulled off a surprising 128–117 win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday in San Francisco, even though they were missing several key players including Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler III, Kristaps Porzingis, and Draymond Green.
Denver looked strong early, but Golden State caught fire from beyond the arc, hitting 21 three‑pointers and outscoring the Nuggets 35–16 in the final 13 minutes to turn things around.
Guard Brandin Podziemski led the comeback, sparking a late 15–0 run and finishing with 18 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists, while Moses Moody scored 23 points.
Veteran Al Horford also made a big impact, shooting 6‑for‑7 from deep and scoring 22 points.
For Denver, Nikola Jokić put up a monstrous triple‑double with 35 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists, but his efforts weren’t enough to secure the victory.
The win snapped a two‑game skid for the Warriors and showcased an impressive team effort despite the absence of several stars
