ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ- The recently held protest movement, the Trillion Peso March, on September 21, 2025, in various parts of the country, was a success, according to the representative of the Kabataan Party-list.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Representative Renee Louise Co of the Kabataan Party-list stated that many young people participated in the said activity.
According to Co, each youth carried placards with various messages and chanted phrases demanding accountability and an end to the corruption happening in the country.
She further said that they do not want their futures to be stolen from them, which is why these young people are calling for increased funding for the education sector, health sector, and others.
The Kabataan Party-list is hoping that their calls will be heard and responded to by government officials and individuals involved in the said corruption.
Co also called on the youth to continue fighting for their rights, especially when officials are already stealing their future.
