ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ- Scheduled for tomorrow, July 10, Police Brigadier General Josefino D. Ligan, the Acting Regional Director of Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6), will conduct a Command Visit in the province of Capiz.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Police Captain Merry Chris Dela Cruz, Police Information Officer of the Capiz Police Provincial Office, stated that the visit of Police Brigadier General Ligan is part of his official duties. During the visit, he will pay a courtesy call to Provincial Governor Fredenil Castro and meet with the members of the local police force in the province.
She further added that this visit by PBGen. Ligan will strengthen the coordination between the police and the local government, as well as the programs being pushed under his leadership. In his courtesy call to Governor Castro, they are expected to discuss initiatives related to the safety and security of the residents of Capiz.
The agenda for PBGen. Ligan’s visit also includes coordinating with the police officers in the province to discuss their programs and projects, and to listen to the issues and needs of the law enforcement units under his jurisdiction. One of the goals of the visit is to focus on the efforts being implemented by PRO6 to enhance their operations and achieve a higher level of security in the region.
It is expected that PBGen. Ligan’s Command Visit to Capiz will provide a deeper understanding and insight into the needs of the police force and the necessary steps to continue improving operations in the region.
