MAAYON, CAPIZ – The Capiz Provincial Government, led by Governor Fredenil H. Castro and through the Capiz Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (CaPENRO), in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Maayon, will hold a Community Tree-Planting activity on January 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., beside the Municipal Hall of Maayon.
Residents are encouraged to join the initiative to help preserve, conserve, and protect the province’s natural resources. Free seedlings will be distributed, including avocado, lanzones, malano, lemon, langka, guyabano, and rambutan.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to actively participate in safeguarding our environment,” the provincial office said.
The public is invited to come and take part in this environmental advocacy.
