Classes Suspended in La Carlota After Kanlaon Eruption

Due to the eruption of Mount Kanlaon on Thursday afternoon, classes have been suspended in parts of Negros Occidental.

For Friday, February 20, 2026, all classes—both public and private, at all levels—are suspended in the City of La Carlota, Negros Occidental.
