The Atlanta Hawks improved their bid for a playoff spot by beating the Milwaukee Bucks 131–113 in an important road game on March 4, 2026.
Hawks guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker topped the scoring with 23 points, while five of his teammates also scored in double figures. Jalen Johnson added 20 points and nine assists, Onyeka Okongwu contributed 21 points and eight rebounds, and Dyson Daniels finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Milwaukee, fighting for a play-in tournament spot directly behind Atlanta in the standings, saw Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the Bucks with 24 points, and Kyle Kuzma score 16 off the bench.
The Bucks dominated early, shooting an excellent percentage in the first quarter and taking a 38–25 lead, but Atlanta bounced back. After a tight first half, the Hawks took control after halftime, opening the third quarter with a 23-5 run that put them ahead for good.
Milwaukee’s hot first-quarter shooting faded in the second half, particularly from three-point range, and they were unable to catch up. With the win, the Hawks maintained momentum in the Eastern Conference race and kept pressure on the Bucks in their playoff battle.
