In a Sunday matchup, the Miami Heat extended their hot run with a 121–110 victory over the Detroit Pistons, handing Detroit their fourth straight loss and marking Miami’s fifth win in a row this season.

Tyler Herro led the scoring for Miami with 25 points, while Bam Adebayo added 24 points and nine rebounds, moving past 10,000 career points as a Heat player. Jaime Jaquez Jr. was also effective off the bench, finishing with 19 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.

Despite the effort from Cade Cunningham—who posted 26 points and 10 assists—the Pistons couldn’t keep up. Jalen Duren contributed 24 points but Detroit fell behind early and struggled to close the gap.

Miami jumped out to a strong start, leading by 18 after the first quarter and maintaining control throughout. The Pistons’ once-comfortable Eastern Conference lead was trimmed to just 2.5 games over the Boston Celtics following the defeat.
