Senator Rodante Marcoleta declined to comment on rumors linking him as a potential running mate of Vice President Sara Duterte in the 2028 elections.
He said he is currently focused on addressing disputes with public figures, including retired Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio, Senator Panfilo Lacson, and maritime experts, before turning to political plans.
VP Sara announced her 2028 presidential bid on February 18, also naming Senator Robin Padilla and Senator Imee Marcos as possible running mates.
