The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has assured the implementation of maximum tolerance for the fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on July 28.
They will ensure that maximum tolerance is observed to allow peaceful assembly of protesters on the day of the SONA.
Over 5,000 Civil Management Disturbance personnel, along with an additional 681 standby personnel, will be deployed for crowd control measures.
According to NCRPO spokesperson PMaj. Hazel Asilo, more than 15,000 police officers from the region are also ready to be deployed to ensure security at the Batasan Complex, along the routes of VIPs, in designated protest zones, media zones, and medical evacuation points.
Other officers will be assigned to border control points, checkpoints, landing zones, and advance command posts.
