CAPIZ — More than 175,085 individuals or 57,000 families in Capiz were affected by Typhoon Tino, which brought widespread flooding across several parts of Western Visayas, based on the latest data from the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) as of November 05, 2025 07:00 am.

According to the RDRRMC report, a total of 33 areas in Capiz experienced flooding. Although the waters in some areas have begun receding, local authorities continue to monitor the situation and provide assistance to affected residents.

Across the Western Visayas region, 152,514 families or 489,109 individuals were affected by the typhoon. Of these, 76,773 families (246,535 persons) are currently staying inside 3,066 evacuation centers, while 37,300 families (117,232 persons) are being assisted outside these shelters.

In Capiz alone, 903 evacuation centers are housing 27,939 families or 82,777 individuals, while another 19,360 families or 59,141 persons are receiving aid outside evacuation facilities.

Other provinces also reported significant impacts: Antique with 27,768 affected families, Iloilo with 39,928, Aklan with 23,454, and Guimaras with 3,567.
