Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 31 points, and Donte DiVincenzo added 18 to key the victory.
Jaden McDaniels and Ayo Dosunmu each scored 12 points, while Rudy Gobert pulled down 13 rebounds to help the Timberwolves strengthen their form.
The Clippers were missing star forward Kawhi Leonard due to an ankle issue, as well as John Collins (head/neck), making their offense less effective.
Minnesota’s win marked their second straight victory on the road and extended their strong stretch of play.
For Los Angeles, Derrick Jones Jr. scored 18 points and Bennedict Mathurin had 14, but the team still suffered its third straight loss.
The Clippers also continue to wait on the debut of newly acquired guard Darius Garland (toe), further weakening their roster.
Overall, Minnesota took advantage of the absence of key Clippers players and pulled ahead late, with Edwards hitting clutch plays down the stretch to secure the Timberwolves’ edge.
