Authorities in Benguet successfully stopped a suspected illegal drug operation, leading to the arrest of two individuals and the confiscation of alleged shabu. Local police reported that the suspects were caught during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Benguet Provincial Police Office.
The operation yielded several sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value worth thousands of pesos, along with various items used in drug transactions.
Police officials emphasized their continued commitment to intensify anti-drug campaigns across the province to curb the spread of illegal drugs. The arrested suspects are now facing charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
