A scuba diver believes that there are many factors to consider before diving into Taal Lake, which is believed to be the site where the bodies of 34 fishermen were thrown.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Atty. Roman Almalbis stated that as a scuba diver, it is not easy to dive into Taal Lake because the situation could be dangerous for individuals attempting such an act.
According to Almalbis, Taal Lake is located near a volcano and contains elements such as sulfur, which are hazardous to one’s health.
In addition, the lake has a depth of 172 meters, making it difficult to dive into.
Moreover, it might be hard to find if there are indeed any bodies thrown into the lake since this event reportedly happened in 2021, and the remains may have already decomposed into skeletons.
He also emphasized that advanced technology and equipment are required to conduct any investigation under Taal Lake.
