TEHRAN, June 23, 2025 — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Tuesday that no ceasefire agreement with Israel has been reached, contradicting claims of an imminent truce.

“There is currently no agreement in place to halt military operations,” Araghchi posted on social media, shortly after the U.S. president announced that a ceasefire would take effect at 0400 GMT.

However, Araghchi clarified that Iran is prepared to cease hostilities — but only if Israel halts its military actions.

“If the Israeli regime ends its unlawful aggression against the Iranian people by 4 a.m. Tehran time, we will not continue our retaliatory response,” he added.

Meanwhile, daily life continues under tense conditions in Iran’s capital, with citizens seen passing a mural of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei amid the ongoing conflict.
