University of Perpetual Help System DALTA ran away with a straight-sets victory over Jose Rizal University, finishing 25-14, 25-22, 25-20 in their NCAA Season 101 women’s volleyball match at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila on Sunday. The Lady ALTAs got a big boost from Jem Menor, who made key plays down the stretch to help halt a third-set rally from the Lady Bombers and bounce back from an earlier loss to Benilde.

Menor contributed 11 points and eight digs, while Charisse Enrico was dominant at the net with 15 points, including three blocks. Cyrille Almeniana and Camille Bustamante added 13 points each, stepping up as veteran Shai Omipon saw limited playing time.

The win lifted Perpetual to a 9-2 record in Group A and earned them a twice-to-beat advantage for the quarterfinals, while JRU fell to 2-9. In the third set, JRU briefly forced a tie before Perpetual pulled ahead with a decisive run to secure the sweep.
