Mayor Dadivas Oversees Cleanup of Decades-Old Blocked Drain in Mercedes Subdivision

ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ – Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas recently posted on Facebook that the drainage canal in Mercedes Subdivision and its Extension had been blocked for around 20 years, as reported by Barangay Dayao Chairman Wenie Batuampo.

Earlier today, the city’s Equipment Pool team inspected the site and used a backhoe to remove the debris, allowing water to flow freely and preventing further clogging.

Mayor Dadivas added that additional work is planned for certain sections of the canal in the coming days.
