The entire Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City will be placed under lockdown beginning July 23, 2025, as part of security preparations for the fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., scheduled on July 28.
During the lockdown, only essential personnel will be allowed access to the complex.
An ocular inspection is set for Monday, July 21, to be led by an inter-agency task force to ensure all necessary preparations are in place.
In addition, heightened security measures will be implemented around the Batasang Pambansa Complex starting next week to maintain order and safety in the lead-up to the SONA.
