ROXAS CITY – Re-elected Roxas City Mayor Atty. Ronnie Dadivas is setting his sights on a legacy of people-centered development as he enters his third and final term in office. With a renewed mandate, the mayor expressed strong optimism that his administration can fulfill its goals for the city within the next three years.

In an exclusive interview with Bombo Radyo, Mayor Dadivas reaffirmed his commitment to continue key programs and infrastructure projects launched during his previous terms. These include the widely supported “Bugas para sa taga-Roxas” rice distribution initiative, enhancements in health services, and major public infrastructure developments.

Among the major projects currently underway are the transformation of the Roxas Civic Center into a fully functioning Convention Center, the construction of a new Roxas City Hall in Pueblo de Panay, a modern Medical Complex, improvements to the Libas Fishing Port, and a new slaughterhouse to support the city’s meat supply chain.

Highlighting the impact of the rice assistance program, Mayor Dadivas noted that more than 38,000 families are regularly receiving 15 kilos of rice every 45 days, underscoring the city’s effort to ensure food security for its residents. He vowed to protect and sustain the program, citing its importance to thousands of families.

“We can’t say Roxas City is improving if our people are going hungry,” he stressed. “It’s the people who drive the economy, and we must put them first.”
