Italian police arrested a barber in Italy after it was discovered that he was using his barbershop as a cover for his drug-dealing business.

Authorities had received reports for some time about drug dealing happening in the Foce District of Genoa City, but they had no solid lead on where exactly the illegal activities were taking place.

Because of this, the Forte San Giuliano Police Station launched surveillance teams across different parts of Foce to determine where the drug transactions were happening.

One of the surveillance teams noticed a barbershop that was frequently visited by bald customers with no beards.

In the investigation conducted by authorities, it was revealed that most of the barbershop’s customers were going there mainly to buy drugs. Some even got haircuts after purchasing the drugs.

When it was confirmed that the 55-year-old barber was a drug dealer, his house was immediately raided, and several grams of hashish were found there. In the barbershop itself, 100 grams of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia were discovered.

Currently, the barber is detained at Marassi prison, awaiting his sentencing.
