ROXAS CITY – Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas has extended the suspension of classes until tomorrow, November 5, in all levels of both public and private schools.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Mayor Dadivas explained that the extension aims to allow the conduct of a post-typhoon assessment to determine the extent of damage left by Typhoon Tino.

He added that the move also gives students, teachers, and school personnel time to secure their homes, attend to their families, and recover from the effects of the storm.

The mayor likewise emphasized that the additional day will allow barangay and school personnel to clean and restore schools that were used as evacuation centers, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the students’ return.
