ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ — The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Capiz has recognized Irish Karn Villarisco Magallanes, a native of Barangay Domulog, Roxas City, after placing sixth in the 2026 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination.
Through a resolution sponsored by Capiz First District Board Member Emmanuel “Jun Jun” Billiones Jr., the Provincial Board acknowledged Magallanes’ outstanding achievement after he obtained an overall rating of 91.8 percent, placing sixth among examinees nationwide.
The Provincial Board also commended his knowledge, perseverance, and dedication to his studies, which contributed to his remarkable performance in the national licensure examination.
Magallanes is a graduate of the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City.
He had previously demonstrated his academic and professional competence after ranking among the Top 10 in the 2022 Civil Service Examination.
His latest achievement brings pride not only to his family and alma mater but also to the province of Capiz, serving as an inspiration to young Capiceños who aspire to pursue professional careers and contribute to their communities.
