The Philippines has been selected to host a world-class pole vault tournament.
The tournament will be held at the Ayala Triangle Garden in Makati from September 20 to 21.
Filipino pole vault star EJ Obiena stated that top pole vault names will participate in the tournament.
He mentioned that ever since he joined tournaments in Europe, it has been his long-time dream to have a similar event here in the Philippines.
The main tournament will take place on September 21, and it is sanctioned by World Athletics, Asian Athletics, and the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA).
