CAPIZ – The Capiz Provincial Health Office has assured the public that its office, rural health units, and hospitals are fully prepared to accommodate residents in need of medical assistance as the entire province remains under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 due to Typhoon Tino.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Dr. Alex Nolasco, Provincial Health Officer II, said the provincial government has already distributed health emergency commodities to various local government units across Capiz.

Dr. Nolasco emphasized the importance of following the instructions and advisories issued by local authorities to ensure everyone’s safety.

He also reminded the public to avoid going out in the rain, stressing that apart from the dangers posed by flying debris and falling trees, exposure to floodwaters may also lead to waterborne diseases that could compromise one’s health.
