Retired judge and current PCSO Chairperson Felix Reyes has denied all accusations made by missing-sabungero whistleblower Alyas Totoy (Julie “Dondon” Patidongan), who claims Reyes was involved in case-fixing operations for businessman Atong Ang.

In a statement released on July 9, Reyes said the allegations were false and had nothing to do with him. He expressed full willingness to cooperate with any investigation into the matter.

Patidongan had accused Reyes of traveling abroad with prosecutors and fellow judges to carry out case-fixing. In response, Reyes authorized the Bureau of Immigration to open his travel records since retiring from the judiciary in 2021, saying these will prove his innocence.

He also questioned the timing of the accusations, which surfaced a day after he filed an application with the Office of the Ombudsman.

Reyes emphasized that if Patidongan cannot back up his claims with evidence, it would be best for him to stay silent. He welcomed any investigation from government agencies to clear his name and uphold the integrity of the judiciary and prosecution service.
