ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced new minimum wage rates for workers and domestic helpers in Western Visayas, including Capiz, under Wage Order Nos. RBVI-29 and RBVI-DW-07, which will take effect on November 19, 2025.
Under Wage Order No. RBVI-29, employees in the non-agriculture, industrial, and commercial sectors will receive the following daily minimum wage rates:
*₱550 for establishments employing more than 10 workers
*₱525 for establishments employing 10 workers or less
Meanwhile, workers in the agriculture sector will have a new daily minimum wage of ₱520.
For household or domestic workers, Wage Order No. RBVI-DW-07 sets the new monthly minimum wage at ₱6,500. This adjustment aims to help domestic workers cope with the rising cost of living in the region.
The wage increase covers all provinces and cities in Region VI (Western Visayas), including Capiz, Iloilo, Aklan, Antique, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental.
DOLE urged all employers to comply with the new wage orders and reminded workers to report violations to the nearest DOLE field office or through the DOLE Hotline 1349.
