Barangay Ginebra San Miguel has traded for Kemark Cariño, sending Ben Adamos to the Terrafirma Dyip in a direct one-for-one deal confirmed by the Philippine Basketball Association on Friday.

Cariño, a 6-foot-8 big man originally picked by Terrafirma in the 2023 PBA Draft, earned spots on both the All-Defensive and All-Rookie teams in 2024 and also had a brief playing stint in Japan’s B.League.

Currently recovering from an ACL injury he suffered last year, Cariño is expected to return to action later this season with Ginebra.

Meanwhile, Adamos — who was drafted by the Alaska Aces in 2021 and has played for several PBA teams including Converge, Phoenix, and NorthPort — is now set to join the Dyip as part of the roster change.
