Ibinunyag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nitong Lunes, Agosto 11, na batay sa inisyal na resulta ng flood control projects audit, 15 contractors ang nakakuha ng halos ₱100 bilyon o 20% ng kabuuang pondo para sa mga proyekto mula Hulyo 2022 hanggang Mayo 2025.
Ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), kabilang sa mga ito ang Legacy Construction Corporation, Alpha & Omega Gen. Contractor & Development Corp., St. Timothy Construction Corporation, QM Builders, EGB Construction Corporation, Topnotch Catalyst Builders Inc., Centerways Construction and Development Inc., Sunwest, Inc., Hi-Tone Construction & Development Corp., Triple 8 Construction & Supply, Inc., Royal Crown Monarch Construction & Supplies Corp., Wawao Builders, MG Samidan Construction, L.R. Tiqui Builders, Inc., at Road Edge Trading & Development Services.
Lima sa kanila , Legacy Construction Corporation, Alpha & Omega, St. Timothy, EGB Construction, at Road Edge Trading ay may mga proyekto sa halos lahat ng rehiyon sa bansa.
“I’m not accusing anyone of anything yet,” ani Marcos, ngunit aniya, nagbibigay ang mga natuklasan ng “idea of how these have been conducted.”
