PAGASA reported that the easterlies, or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, are expected to bring cloudy skies and occasional rain showers across many parts of the Philippines. Some areas may experience scattered rains and thunderstorms, while Metro Manila and other regions could have partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rain.
The weather bureau also warned that heavy rainfall in some places could cause flooding or landslides, especially during strong thunderstorms. Winds and sea conditions will generally be light to moderate, but coastal areas may experience rougher waters in some sections.
